Delhi Administrator greets Delhiities

New Delhi, Jan 26 (UNI) Delhi Administrator A R Kdwai today extended his greetings and good wishes to the people of Delhi saying, they all should offer tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the independence of the country.

''We should also remember our great leaders, who laid the foundation of a new India,'' said Dr Kidwai in his message on the occasion of Republic Day.

''We owe our constitution and democratic governance to these great leaders. They have provided us with a strong infrastructure, which facilitates us in competing with leading economies of the world,'' he said.

Our developmental programmes in public sector, science and technology, space and atomic energy have helped the nation to acquire a respectful position in the world, he added.
