'Biz Beam' begins Jan 27

Tirupati, Jan 26 (UNI) A two-day national level Management Student Meet -- 'Biz Beam'-- would be held at Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) here from tomorrow, Meet Co-ordinator M Srinivasa Reddy said today.

Addressing a press conference, he said it would be attended by 200 students from 40 management institutes across South India.

The event, organised by the SVU in connection with the annual festival of the Department of Management Studies, would test the skills of management students in areas such as communication, technical and functional knowledge.

Some of the sponsoring companies like Monsterindia.com, Mafoi, Info-tech, Nandi Pipes and Ispace Technologies would be providing employment to the bright and talented students identified during the meet, he added.

SVU Vice-Chancellor C S Jayarama Reddy would inaugurate the meet and Monsterindia.com Country Manager Dhruv Shenoy would be the Guest of Honour while Ministry of External Affairs Deputy Secretary M Sevala Naik would preside.
