Nagaland: Woman with 60 gelatin sticks arrested

Kohima, Jan 25: Dimapur police recovered some 60 gelatin sticks, highly expolsive material, and about 70 mts of fuse wire and arrested a suspected woman in this connection from Signal Angami village in Dimapur yesterday.

Police, receiving a tip-off, raided a house in the village belonged to one retired Army personnel and recovered the highly explosive sticks and fuse wire. But the owner of the house was absconding.

Police later arrested the woman, who was outside of the house on suspicion.

Police were investigating to ascertain if any link she had with underground outfits.
