Spice to introduce three unique services

Bangalore, Jan 25(UNI) The Spice Telecom, pioneer in introducing cellular mobile telephony services in Karnataka, will introduce three unique services in the Value Added Services including Internet access from January 29, Company Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Mr Rakesh Singh said today.

Talking to newsmen here, he said that the Spice Telecom, targetting the younger generation, would launch the Back Ground Music service where background music would be played after the call was connected and remains till the conversation was over. The Back Ground Music (BGM) service would also offer personalised music on any whacky sound and different music background to different callers.

The new Spice Radio service would enable the callers to listen and dedicate the full songs of their choice anytime, anywhere by just calling a number from the mobile phones. Subscribers can access the new smart music station and the choice of music on offer includes Charbusters, Old Melodies, Ghazals and devotional hymns.

The other service being offered was Spice Mute a service that enables its customers to define unwanted incoming calls and block it before receiving. The customer can also maintain a blacklist of unwanted calls emitting from specific numbers while the calls listed in white list can have unhindered access, he added.

Mr Singh described that Spice is the first cellular operator which is introducing such innovative services for the first time in the country which no other operators have started.

Replying to question Mr Singh the decision of the TRAI to reduce the Roaming charges drastically would help the customers more.
