Seven members of family commit suicide

Hassan, Jan 25 (UNI) Seven members of a family here committed suicide today by consuming food laced with poison.

Police said prominent businessman Vishwanath and his family members entered into suicide pact as they were unable to repay huge debts.

Besides Mr Gupta, his wife, son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren were found dead in their house in the Gandhi Bazar area.
