K'taka: Seven members of a family commit suicide

Hassan, Jan 25: In a gruesome incident, Seven members of a family committed suicide after eating food mixed with poison in the city today.

Police said that a prominent businessman Vishwanath and his family members entered into suicide pact as they were unable to repay huge debt raised.

Besides Mr Gupta, his wife, son, daughter-in-law and three gandchildren were found dead in their house in Gandhi Bazar area.
