Sankabisekham performed to deity

Puducherry, Jan 25(UNI) A large number of devotees thronged the Sri Manakkula Vinayagar temple here to offeres prayers to the deity on the 8th anniversary of the Mahakumbabishegam today.

A special 1008 Sankabishegam was performed to the presiding deity to mark the occasion.

Later, the deity was taken in a procession through the main streets here.
