Revenue Inspector trapped by ACB

Hyderabad, Jan 25 (UNI) K Seelappa, Revenue Inspector, Office of the Mandal Revenue Officer was caught red handed by the ACB Officials today at his office when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs 1,000 as illegal gratification from the complainant V Dastagiri for showing official favour to insert the name of his faterin pattadar passbook.

The tainted amount of Rs 1,000 was seized at the instance of AO The AO was arrested.

In another case, the Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases here recently convicted Ms D Seetamahalakshmi, former senior checking inspector, Nacharam Area and sentenced here to undergo rigorous imprisonment for one year and pay a fine of Rs 1,500 and in default of payment to suffer three months simple imprisonment.
