Man commits suicide alleging incest between wife and son

Hoshiarpur, Jan 25 (UNI) A man commited suicide here alleging that his wife had illicit relations with his son.

Police today said dead body of Gurdev Singh of Dashmesh Nagar area was found by a police patrolling party near village Kaleran last evening.

While searching the deceased's clothes, police found a suicide note in which the man had alleged that his son Lovely had illicit relation with his wife. The two had refused to mend their ways despite his persuations.

According to the note, Gurdev had approached his in-laws as well but instead of advising their errant daughter, the members of his in-laws family threatened to kill him. This had compelled him to take his own life.

Hazipur Police has registered a case under sections 306 and 34 of the IPC in this connection.
