Make Amended draft of MPD 2021 public: BJP

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Alleging that the 2021 Master Plan was nothing but a "tool to hand over Delhi to sealing squads and bulldozers" contrary to claims of relief to people made by the Congress, the BJP has demanded that the revised draft of MPD 2021 be immediately made public.

Charging the Congress Government of rejecting many public welfare proposals in the MPD 2021 suggested by the BJP, Delhi BJP president Harshvardhan, in a statement here, dismissed as false claims of relief by the Congress.

''After the completion of MCD polls. The bloody hand of the Congress will become active again to make people of Delhi unemployed and homeless,''he said.

In this context, he said the Congress had rejected BJP's proposals to give relief to the common man including increasing FAR for Nursery schools, regularizing all buildings constructed so far by an amnesty scheme and opening motels and developing IT areas on the outskirts of Delhi.

Stating that the conduct of Congress was totally anti-Delhi and anti-industry, Dr Harshvardhan said,''earlier big industrial plots were allotted to the people for industries, At that time land was sufficiently available. Now there is scarcity and keeping this in view a suggestion was given to the government to make small plots out of big industrial plots but it was rejected.

''The message is clear that it wants to ruin thousands of industries running on such big industrial plots. This master Plan will finish industries in residential areas,''he said.
