Hindalco Q3FY07 net surges 91.5 pc

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Hindalco Industries Ltd today posted a 91.5 per cent rise in net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, to Rs 643.9 crore as compared to Rs 336.2 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.

The company's total income increased 61.68 per cent to Rs 4,714.6 crore for the quarter from Rs 2,916 crore for the same quarter ended December 31, 2005.
