Greek leftist guerrillas claim U S Embassy attack

ATHENS, Jan 24 (Reuters) Greek leftist guerrilla group Revolutionary Struggle has claimed responsibility for a rocket attack on the U S Embassy earlier this month and vowed more strikes on politicians and high-security buildings, a local weekly newspaper which received the claim said.

The group, which has targeted government buildings and a minister in the past four years, has emerged as the biggest domestic security threat since the capture of the once-deadly November 17 guerrilla group in 2002.
