Goa BJP reconstitutes South Goa District committee
Panaji, Jan 25 (UNI) The Goa Bharatiya Janata Party has reconstituted its South Goa District committeee.
The new committee will be headed by former minister Vinay Tendulkar as the president while Kalidas Khandeparkar has been appointed the general secretary.
This was informed by former chief minister Manohar Parrikar while speaking to reporters here today.
Mr Parrikar admitted that the BJP was weak in the Salcette taluka, which is dominated by Catholics. Efforts were underway to strengthen the party there, he said.
