DFRL receives ISO 9001-2000 certificate

Mysore, Jan 25 (UNI) Country's prestigious Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL) has bagged ISO 9001-2000 certification by Okas accredited UK based SGS certification body.

According to a relesase here today, DFRL is one of the 50 and odd Laboratories under Defence R and D organisations which has made name during the Kargil war and other natural disasters by supplying special rations and foods. Spectacular range of product, especially ready to eat, available in the market were based on the DFRL technologies.

The Certificate was handed over by Col Parameshwara Nair by SGS certification body to Dr W Selva Murthy Chief Controller (Research and Development) DRDO New Delhi recently.
