Defence personnel clash with train passengers

Buxar, Bihar, Jan 25 (UNI) Government Railway Police (GRP) took six defence and security personnel and three civilians into custody for breach of peace in the running Guwahati bound Northeast Express train late last night.

GRP sources said they were involved in a clash over occupancy of berths in the train. The incident took place between Ghina and Jamaniya railway stations under Danapur division of East Central Railway.

The Army personnel taken into custody included field sergeant Kamal Bora, Navin Kumar of Gorkha Regiment, Khararibat Kumar of Bihar Regiment, D Hakib of Manipur Regiment, Sultan Singh of BSF and Sukhpal Rai of 145 battalion.
