Cow slaughter: Cops suspended

Mandsaur, MP, Jan 25 (UNI) Two constables have been suspended in the wake of an incident of mass cow slaughter in this district.

''The slaughter is being probed,'' said Superintendent of Police R K Chaudhry.

Disciplinary action was initiated yesterday against constables Vijay Ramawat and Pramod Vyas posted at Yashodharman Nagar Police Station.

On January 4, about 100 cows were slain in a mine near Pityakhedi village.
