Cold waves continue in Manipur

Imphal, Jan 25 (UNI) The cold waves continued to torment the people of Manipur since last few weeks thus keeping the mercury level low.

MET officials said the minimum temperature has plummeted to 2.4 degree Celsius and is expected to remain for the next few days.

They further said the cold conditions have worsened due to North westerly chilly wind.

There was no rainfall and the humidity was about 88 percent, the sources added. The maximum temperature hovered around 24 degree Celcius today.
