Mumbai, Jan 25 (UNI) Bombay High Court today asked the Shiv Sena mouthpiece 'Saamna' to refrain from republishing any article in which allegations have been made against Maharashtra Revenue Minister Narayan Rane after he defected from the Sena to Congress.

A single bench court of Justice D K Deshmukh passed the order on a defamation case slapped on 'Saamna' and its editor Sanjay Raut by Mr Rane.

Justice Deshmukh directed the newspaper to refrain from printing any article which contained allegations against Mr Rane till the pendency of the case. The bench also directed 'Saamna' not to reproduce any material on Mr Rane since his defection to the Congress from the Sena in 2005.

However, the court has allowed the newspaper to publish news or articles about Mr Rane in a fair and correct manner.
