Bajaj launches improved Kristal scooterette
Bangalore, Jan 25: Country's leading two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto today launched in Karnataka its improved ungeared scooterette 'Kristal'.
Targeted mainly at the college students, 'Kristal' offered power, fuel economy and style. The four-stroke, 95 cc scooter, comes with the patented DTSi technology along with ExhausTEC for a superior pickup and mileage. It develops 7.2 Ps of power for zipping through traffic with utmost ease, company Senior Manager (Marketing) V Vasu told newsmen here after the launch.
He said 'Kristal' was sleek, aerodynamically designed vehicle that would delight the fun loving consumer. It would be available in four colours with two-tone colour combination that exudes youthful energy.
The two wheeler, priced at Rs 35,167 ex-showroom in Bangalore, offered 50 km per litre in actual usage conditions, he added.
The other features included front fueling, unique Pena-lock system, Smart lamps, that switches on automatically in dark conditions and shuts off in brighter light, SNS suspension and the largest storage space underneath the seat, he added.
