2 killed, 8 injured in Asom triple blasts
Guwahati, Jan 25 (UNI) Two people were killed and eight injured in three separate blasts in Asom on the eve of the Republic Day today.
The blasts took place at Guwahati, Rangia and Tinsukia district while an IED was recovered from Lakhimpur.
The Army arrested six mid-level ULFA militants, who were produced before the media.
A blast occurred in Ganeshguri area of Guwhati city, though there was no casualty.

Meanwhile, a bomb carrier was killed when the bomb went off accidentally near Barhapjan on the National Highway 37 in Tinsukia district.
In yet another incident a bomb was recovered near Lakhimpur main market, which was programmed to be exploded tomorrow.
A tea garden labour died in a crossfire between Bru militants and security forces in the state.
