17 CBI men awarded Distinguished and Meritorious Services Medals

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) As many as 17 CBI personnel were today awarded 'President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service' and 'Police Medal for Meritorious Service' on the eve of 58th Republic Day.

While the 'President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service' has been given to 5 men, 12 others have been awarded the 'Police Medal for Meritorious Service'.

The awardees of 'President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service' are t Director (East) and STF B B Mishra, SP (ACB) O P Gaur, SP (ACB) S N Saxena, Addl SP (BS&FC), Addl SP (EOU-VIII) S K Pashin.

Awardees for 'Police medal for Meritorious Service' are A K Ohri (SP), A K Banerjee, R M Krishna (both Addl SPs), P R Rao, R Dwivedi, N K Murthy, S Bazlullah (all Dy SPs), K S Nageswaran, M S Patil (Inspectors), I P Singh (SI), R P Sharma (ASI) and P A Rane (HC).
