Two killed in mishap in Yavatmal district
Nagpur, Jan 24 (UNI) Two persons were killed on the spot and two others injured when the three-wheeler they were travelling in, went off a bridge near Bagad village in Yavatmal district of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra today.
According to the police, one of the rear wheels of the speeding three-wheeler (MH-29/M-1116) broke when the vehicle was crossing a bridge while on its way from Yavatmal to Darwha this evening.
The vehicle went out of control, skidded off the bridge and crashed, police said.
Two occupants, identified as Maruti Chaudhari (40) and Pralhad Shahane (32), died on the spot, while Babarao Narnaware and Balu Bhate were injured, police added.
