Somnath to inaugurate five-day Bengali fest tomorrow

New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee will inaugurate a five-day festival of Bengali culture and food ''Digant'', to mark the 55th establishment day of the Raisina Bengali School, here tomorrow.

Several renowned Bengli singers and a number of cultural, theatre and orchestra groups from Kolkata will participate in the festival.

Musical competitions and on-the-spot painting competitions for schoolchildren will also be held.

The event will be held in the Mini Bengal area of Chittaranjan Park.
