Precious metals in upbeat mood

Mumbai, Jan 24 (UNI) Precious metals were on an upswing on account of bullish global advice, with the white metal up by Rs 245 per kg and Gold by Rs 90 per ten gms in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the closing rates of Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 19,850 (19,605), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,245 (9,155), Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 9,295 (9,205).
