Police constable commits suicide in Haryana

Hisar, Jan 24 (UNI) A constable of Haryana police allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death last night at his residence in New Police Line here.

Police today said the neighbours of constable Kishan, hailing from Shimla village in Kaithal district, got suspicious when he did not open his door till late this morning.

When they peeped in from the window, they saw his body hanging from the roof with a noose around his neck. The police, which rushed to the spot on getting the information, has sent the body for post mortem.

The cause for the suicide is not known so far as no suicide note has been found, police said.

Kishan was posted at PCR duty in Hansi and was apparently alone at home here.
