News pharma institutes to be set up: Cabinet

New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) The government today decided to set up new pharma institutes on the lines of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education at Mohali, Haryana.

To facilitate this, the Cabinet approved promulgation of an ordinance for amending the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Act, 1998.

The new law would also provide for inclusion of a representative of Pharmacy Council of India on the Board of Governors.
