MSTC official arrested caught accepting Rs two lakh bribe

New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) The CBI today caught a Senior Manager of the Metal and Scrap Trading Corporation Limited (MSTC) here while accepting a bribe of Rs two lakh to favour a person in processing his file for purchase of three lots of metal scraps.

Searches at the Tolstoy Marg office in New Delhi area of arrested MSTC Sr Manager S K Ghosh were also being conducted along with his Noida residence, according to the CBI.

The arrest was made on the complaint of the owner of a private company, dealing in metal scraps, who alleged that S K Ghosh was demanding Rs two lakh for processing the file related to the already bought scrap lot and selling the remaining three lots, the CBI added.
