Minister offers prayers at Tirumala

Tirumala, Jan 24 (UNI) Minister of State for Defence Pallam Raju offered prayers at Lord Venkateswara temple this morning.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) executive officer A P V N Sarma received them at the temple entrance and presented 'prasadam' and a portrait of Lord Venkateswara to them, TTD sources said.

The minister, who arrived here last night along with his wife and mother offered prayers at the temple. He also visited the temple and participated in 'Thomala Seva'' of Lord this morning.

Mr Raju offered prayers at the Padmavathi Ammavaru temple at downhill Tirupati before leaving for Delhi.
