Minister inagurates training programme

Puducherry, Jan 24 (UNI) Puducherry Industries and Commerce Minister V Vaithilingam today inaugurated a training programme by the District Industries Centre (DIC) in computer for IT enabled service and Computer education for setting up computer information centers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vaithilingam exhorted the trainees to properly utilise the facilities being provided by the government.

Stating that DIC was acting as a bridge between the industrial units and the trained persons not only in IT sector, but also in other fields, the Minister said the government was prepared to provide any other facilities, they needed.

DIC functional manager Augustin Lucien Diagou, Cahirman of National Institute of Educational Development System, Puducherry R R Dhanapal, were among others, who participated in the function.
