Mine collapse kills 4

Jagdalpur, Chhattiagarh, Jan 24 (UNI) Four women were buried alive and two severely injured after a soil-extraction mine collapsed in Bastar district, police said.

The women, from Bal village, had gone to extract white lime yesterday. The deceased were identified as Pushpa (25), Sugobai (30), Tulsi (35) and Aatmati (40).

The injured were admitted to a local hospital.
