Mild quakes in North East India
New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) Two earthquakes of slight intensity shook the Northeastern region this evening.
The first quake, measuring 3.9 on the Richter Scale, occurred at 1559 hrs in East Garo Hills in Asom, India Meteorological Department said.
The second quake, measuring 3.9 on the Richter Scale, occurred at 1633 hrs, in Manipur.
