Matrimony of 51 poor girls on Amar Singh b'day

Mirzapur, Jan 24: SP leader Amar Singh will perform 'Kanyadan' forthe matrimony of 51 poor girls at his 51st birthday on January 27 atthe famous Goddess Vindyavasini shrine.

According to Amar Singh Fans Association (ASFA), ''preparationshere are afoot for the grand birthday celebration of Samajwadi Party(SP) General Secretary Amar Singh, which would be marked by the'kanyadan' of 51 poor girls. Over 5,000 guests would be invited for themarriage ceremony.''

The marriage would be solemnised by the blessingsof cine actor-turned-SP MP from Rampur Jaya Prada, industrialist AnilAmbani's better half Tina Ambani and bubbly Bollywood beauty PreityZinta. They are likely to be joined by UP Chief Minister Mulayam SinghYadav at the Vindhyavasini temple during the early morning 'Bhagwatipujan' and 'shahi vivah samaroh', sources added.

The high-profile guests attend the wedding as 'gharaties' (family members).

The special marriage will also be attended by doe-eyed former MissWorld Aishwarya Rai, her fiance Abhishek and would be in-laws Amitabhand Jaya Bachchan. The entire Bachchan family would also offer prayersat the shrine for the well being of their close family friend.

The SP leader and Uttar Pradesh Development Corporation chairmanwill also be accompanied by his wife Pankaja Kumari Singh and twindaughters Drishti and Disha.

The SP leader and his wife would be on a day long fast, whichwould end only after the 'kanyadan' of their 51 spiritual daughters.

The in-laws would be given lavish dowry.

A grand tent is being set up near the Vidhyachal temple, where themarriage of the girls would be solemnised. Eminent pundits fromVaranasi have been invited to solemnise the wedding. Besides, specialarrangements are being made for the relatives of the girls.

The high profile visitors will arrive at the Varanasi Airport by aspecial flight on 1230 hrs on January 27 and will then fly by fourhelicopters to the helipad near the Goddess Asthabhooja temple.
