LPG blast in house
Bhopal, Jan 24 (UNI) A massive blast, caused this morning by leaking liquid petroleum gas at a two-storey house in the satellite town Bairagarh, demolished the kitchen's walls besides ripping doors and windows off their hinges, the police said.
While furnishing details of the incident in Lakshman Nagar locality, Bairagarh Station House Officer O S Chandel said, ''there was no casualty as no member of Mr Ashok Piryani's family was present in the kitchen at about 0600 hrs. A Forensic Science Laboratory team and the Bomb Disposal Squad reached the scene but a preliminary investigation did not reveal any trace of explosives.'' The blast is suspected to have been triggered by the refrigerator's auto-start mechanism.
