Jalandhar still coldest in Punjab
Jalandhar, Jan 24 (UNI) Despite marginal rise in night temperatures at some places in Punjab, the cold wave is continuing and the Adampur airport again recorded lowest minimum temperature of 0.6 degree Celsius this morning.
An official spokesman, quoting Air Force Met Centre data, said that Ludhiana (Halwara airport) recorded minimum temperature of 1.6 degree Celsius, Amritsar 3.0 degree and Pathankot 4.2 degree.
Barring Pathankot, night temperatures registered a marginal rise in the region. In Pathankot, the temperature recorded a negligible fall.
