HRD Module To Spread Digital Literacy

New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) A digital literacy module that tells users all about computers-- how to use them, how to log on to internet, how to surf-- has been put together, the Human Resource Development Ministry said today.

A Ministry statement said the module is intended to ensure that benefits of communication and information technology reach even those who are illiterate or dropouts or in need of life skills.

To be made available through CDs, it will also be available on the Ministry's portal Sakshat for users to download and freely use for spread of digital literacy among the masses.
