GRP nabs ruffians who attacked cops

Hoshangabad, MP, Jan 24: Three ruffians, who escaped from Indore's Pandrinath Police Station after assaulting personnel, have been arrested at the local railway station, the police said.

Indore-residents Roshan, Ravi Thakur and Ankit Thakur were apprehended by the Government Railway Police yesterday while moving about suspiciously on a platform. The trio's friend Lakshman Pawar managed to flee while two other accused are still absconding.

The accused were arrested on December 21, 2006 while plotting a dacoity. After the assault, Indore Police announced rewards of Rs 35,000 on each of them.
