Grape Brandy launched in Bangalore

Bangalore, Jan 24 (UNI) The Amrut Distilleries Limited, one of the leading manufacturer of quality liquor products in the country today launched five-year-old Grape Brandy, distilled from the traditionally grown Bangalore-Blue grapes, here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Neelakanta Rao Jagadale, said that the new brand produced from the famous Bangalore-Blue grapes which was planted in accordance to French tradition to make quality Brandy will be now made available all over Karnataka.

Outlining the uniqueness of the new brand, Mr Jagadale said that it was distilled and matured in high quality American Oak barrels for five years and was 100 per cent natural and contain no any artificial flavors. "It is nothing but purely an organic food" he said.

Mr Jagadale, also that after successful launch of the first Indian Single Malt Whisky in Glasgow, Scotland, U.K in 2004 Amrut Distilleries has now brought new brand 'Bejois Napoleon Brandy' with five-year old Grape Brandy. Priced at Rs 360 per 750 ml bottle probably was the expensive brand in the state, he said.

Terming that the Bangalore Blue grapes, grown in and around the city was best suited for the manufacture of Brandy and company's excellence as a Brandy Producer for more than 50 years has demonstrated by this product.
