Edinburgh airport evacuated due to security alert

LONDON, Jan 24 (Reuters) Edinburgh airport was evacuated today due to a security alert, officials said.

''We have a full evacuation at the moment,'' an airport switchboard operator said. An airport spokesman said the bomb squad had been called to investigate a suspicious bag in the check-in area.
