CPI(ML) to protest sez

Ranchi, Jan 24 (UNI) Protesting the India-America Atomic Treaty and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) policies of the UPA-led union government, the CPI(ML) in Jharhand would form a human chain on the eve of the 58th Republic day.

Party's state secretary Shubhendu Sen told reporters here that both the policies were harmful for the country and would adversely affect the country's external and economic affairs.

Criticising the concept of sez Mr Sen said small yielders would be mostly affected by the policy.

Mr Sen said formation of the human chain was part of a nationwide programme. Similar programmes would also be organised in Dumka and Jamshedpur in the state, he said.
