Cong encouraging corruption: Ajay Chautala
Indore, Jan 24 (UNI) Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) youth wing President Ajay Chautala has accused the Congress of encouraging corruption.
''The Haryana government is anti-farmer and the special economic zone concept has caused considerable loss to peasants. In a way, it is a conspiracy to convert ryots into destitutes,'' he told reporters here yesterday.
On dynastic succession in politics, Mr Chautala claimed that members of his family attained their present political status by starting as party workers but that was not the case with the Gandhi family.
''(Amethi MP) Rahul Gandhi flew into politics by helicopter and he does not have a clear knowledge of Indian culture. In such a situation, how will he represent the country?'' Mr Chautala quipped.
Accusing Madhya Pradesh's Bharatiya Janata Party regime of reneging on their promises, the INLD leader added that the corruption over the past few months has ''exposed'' the government.
