Chhattisgarh minister resigns
Raipur, Jan 24 (UNI) In a dramatic development, Chhattisgarh Finance and Urban Development Minister Amar Agrawal today tendered his resignation from the three-year-old Dr Raman Singh ministry.
''The minister has handed over his resignation letter to the Chief Minister and is leaving for his home town Bilaspur'', sources close to Mr Agrawal told UNI.
When contacted by UNI over telephone, Mr Agrawal quipped: ''I am neither confirming nor denying it. Please ask the Chief Minister.
He is in a better position to say anything about it''.
Mr Amar Agrawal, son of BJP veteran Lakhiram Agrawal, confirmed that he was leaving for his assembly constituency Bilaspur.
