Chhattisgarh: Mine collapse kills 4, injures 2

Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh), Jan 24: Four women were buried alive andtwo severely injured after a soil-extraction mine collapsed in Bastardistrict, the police said.

The women, from Bal village, had gone to extract white limeyesterday. The deceased were identified as Pushpa (25), Sugobai (30),Tulsi (35) and Aatmati (40).

The injured were admitted to a local hospital.
