2 killed in scooter-lorry collision

Kuppam, Jan 24: Two youth were killed on the spot and another person seriously injured when the scooter in which were riding collided with a lorry near the Kuppam Engineering college today.

Police said the victims were proceeding to Tirupathur in Tamil Nadu from here to take part in a wedding function, when the mishap occurred.

The deceased were identified as Chandrappa(23) and Peddappa (22).

The injured person was admitted to the government hospital here, police added.
