Vice-Admiral Contractor calls on Rangasamy

Puducherry, Jan 23 (UNI) Indian Coast Guard Director General Vice-Admiral R S Contractor today called on Chief Minister N Rangasamy here today.

During their meeting, Vice-Admiral Contractor urged Mr Rangasamy to expedite the land acquisition process for expanding the coast guard station here and dredging operations to set up a permanent berthing facility for coast guard's vessel.

Mr Rangasamy agreed to the demands put forward by Mr Contractor.
