Three hard core women militants nabbed

Imphal, Jan 23 (UNI) Imphal East Police and 32 Assam Rifles have nabbed three hard core women militants in two separate incidents from the state today.

Imphal East Superintendent of Police L Kailun said the two women militants were nabbed during a combing operation, conducted jointly by the police and the Assam Rifles in different parts of the state.

The raids were conducted in view of the coming elections in the state, sources added.

Later another operation was launched which led to the arrest of another woman cadre, he added.
