TCI announces interim dividend of 15 per cent

Mumbai, Jan 23 (UNI) Transport Corporation of India (TCI) Ltd today announced the interim dividend at the rate of 15 per cent while declaring the financial results for the third quarter ended on December 31.

The company registered a jump of 17.57 per cent in revenue over the last quarter. Riding high over its performance in the Q3 results, the company registered a jump of 21.73 per cent in PBT (profit before tax) in the nine-month period ended December 31, increasing to Rs 30.27 crore from Rs 24.87 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The profit after tax, however, rose to 17.33 per cent to Rs 21.15 crore from Rs 18.83 crore during the same period last year, a company release issued here today said.
