Samajwadi Party MP assults rail conductor
Lucknow, Jan 23 (UNI) Samajwadi Party Member of Parliament from Jaunpur, Parasnath Yadav, assulted a conductor of Varanasi bound Shivganga Express last night.
The AC coach conductor of the train, Pramod Kumar Tiwari alleged that the Lok Sabha MP was heavily drunk and physically assaulted him.
According to railway police, the incident occurred after the train left from New Delhi station. It had to be stopped specially at Aligarh due to the incident.
Meanwhile, the conductor charged that the GRP personnel at Aligarh were not ready to register a complaint against the MP.
However, the MP has alleged misbehaviour by the conductor, and said that he will report the incident to Railway Minister Lalu Prasad.
On the other hand, GRP officials at Aligarh said the railway conductor had made a written complaint to the RPF.
