S K Garg takes over as CMD of NHPC

New Delhi, Jan 23 (UNI) Mr Sudarshan Kumar Garg has become the permanent Chairman and Managing Director of National Hydroelectric Corporation Ltd (NHPC) from today.

Prior to this, he was holding the post of Director (Finance) and additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director of the Corporation.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr Garg has got three decades of varied experience in the country's top public sector undertakings including Indian Oil Corporation where he started his career in 1974. He joined NHPC as Director (Finance) in July, 2003.
