Power tariff waive off four border migrants in J K
Jammu, Jan 23 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government today informned the legislative assembly that electricity tariff of border migrants of Jammu would be waived off for the period of their displacement.
Replying to a supplementary, Minister for Power Mr Nawang Rigzin Jora informed the lower house that the state government has decided to waived off electricity tariff during their displacement.
In reply to a question, the minister told the House that additional power cut of 4 to 6 hours has been enforced in addition to approved power curtailment schedule for 7 to 8 hours a day in Billawar tehsil and its adjoining areas due to overloading problem of 10 MVA, 66/33 KV, receiving station, Hiranagar and 6 MVA, 66/33 KV, receiving station.
