Indore, Jan 23 (UNI) Releasing a 22-page political chargesheet against the BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh Government, Congress General Secretary and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh today said Madhya Pradesh has been included in the list of most corrupt states in the country.

Citing a report by the Transparency International India, Mr Singh told a jam-packed press conference that the Auditor General had admitted in the report that a scam of more than Rs 70 crore took place during the construction of 'Singhast' besides Rs 33 crore pension scam.

A land scam of about Rs 20,600 crore was done by BJP leaders in collusion with land owners and government officials by proposing for residential and commercial use of 14 per cent of total land as a part of master plan for Indore.

Asserting that the master plan was not beneficial for the city, he said the plan had several discrepancies, which must be removed.

Public facilities had been reduced and an attempt had been made to change the condition of industries and parks.

He called for strict action against responsible persons.

Alleging that several members of the state cabinet were involved in corrupt practices, the Congress leader said details of income of several ministers indicated rise in their income in the past three years.

Referring to corruption charges -- to the tune of Rs 15,000 crore during the Congress rule -- levelled against him by former CM Uma Bharti, he said he had filed a defamation suit against the sadhvi and promised that if his property exceeded from what he had announced he would donate the surplus.
